Residents and non-residents alike must have a license to fish or shellfish in Washington waters. Everyone age 15 and older needs a fishing license. You do not need a license if you are fishing for common carp, crawfish, bullfrogs, or collecting relic shells.
We are a member of "Westport Charter Boat Association." The Westport Charterboat Association (WCBA) is a Washington non-profit corporation whose members are Charterboat owners, operators, and Booking Services. WCBA works with State, Federal, and Tribal fishery management entities and others in order to attain fishing seasons that are both people and fish friendly.
How it Works: Each angler can buy a $5 Derby Ticket for that day. If you bring in the largest fish, you could win $$$$ for the day, week, month and season end.

Our community is a cozy fishing town. We don't have 4-star hotels; but, we do have clean and comfortable motels, RV parks and state parks.
We want to support businesses that support the fishing community. You can find all sponsors on the charterboat associations website here: https://charterwestport.com/fishing.html
There is always something going on in the South Beach area (Westport/Grayland/Tokeland).
