Tipping & Fillet Fees.
Your deckhand(s) work for tips and fees. Fees are for work they are doing as a part of your request for them to fillet your catch. You're welcome to take your fish home 'in the round' and fillet them yourself. Tips, as with a waitress or bartender, is to say 'job well done for keeping my bait coming, getting my fish on the deck, bleeding the fish, making sure the gear is in great working order before I even got on the boat." Deckhands do far more than you'll ever know, so tipping them is greatly appreciated. Bring your gear or use ours? We supply all tackle and a rod for your fishing trip. You're always welcome to bring your own rods and tackle if you prefer. Your tackle must match ours in weight and test; otherwise everyone around you will become tangled. Below, we provide a breakdown of each fishery and what you should use. GEAR TO USE BOTTOM FISHING Lingcod
